Christmas Greetings from Naya Development!
As the year comes to an end, I wanted to share a short recap and reflection, and say thank you to everyone who has been part of the Naya journey this year. This has been a year of focus, some bold decisions, and steady progress - often behind the scenes, but always with a clear long-term perspective.

We started the year with a trip to India together with NTNU in January, visiting universities across several states. This led to Naya becoming a project partner in a NTNU-led collaborative initiative with multiple Indian partners, supported by the Research Council of Norway. The project kicks off in January 2026, and we look forward to what lies ahead.
This year, we entered into new customer agreements and strengthened partnerships with existing clients, reaffirming the value we deliver. We also completed several publicly supported innovation programs, including ESA BIC and an Innovation Contract with Innovation Norway, marking important technical development milestones for our company.

In 2025, we made a conscious decision to focus more on customers and delivery than on fundraising. We spent the year in conversations with companies across industries, learning where the real needs are and sharpening how Naya creates value. That focus has shaped many of the decisions we’ve made - and will continue to make.
This year, we had the opportunity to speak at several conferences and events, including Nor-Shipping, AI+, Norway–India Day at House21, and most recently a Science & Technology conference in Delhi, by invitation from the Norwegian Embassy. These moments of dialogue and exchange have been both humbling and energizing, and they reinforce how global the conversations around technology and responsibility have become.

In 2025, Morten Punnerud-Engelstad officially stepped into the role of CTO. He has been part of Naya since before the company was formally registered, and formalizing his role reflects what has long been true - his deep involvement and commitment to building the technology behind Naya.
This year marked three years since Naya India was established. What started on the first office day for a group of women in November 2022 has grown into a stable operation with a strong internal culture serving customer value.

In 2025, we reached an important milestone as our Indian office became fully self-sustaining in day-to-day operations. We continue to be present regularly to support our culture and relationships.
